Importing passwords from an existing contact database

You can import passwords from an existing contact database as follows:

• Add a password field to the .csv file you are importing and fill it with the passwords for your users. Note:passwords don't have to be unique but login names do on the insight platform so it's likely some of your users will have to use a different login name.
• Select the 'password' field when importing the file containing your user records.
• Don't select the 'send login details' option when importing the record, or the task to send login details to unused account to announce your site as these methods will reset any passwords.
